Anzac Day
This morning there would have been many dawn services held. Many young ones getting up before the sun to remember the men that fought and died for us. It's good to know that the new generations will never forget those brave men and women.
My Dad was in the Navy in England. He was killed during anti-piracy action just before my first birthday. It wasn't during a war, but just the same..he was serving his country, just as the Anzacs did.
My love to all the families who lost a loved one. Lest we forget

Last week
The prompt was to embellish your name so I attempted an illuminated letter ( something I've been meaning to do for ages) and some calligraphy
I also used some scraps of watercolour paper to make some 'word cards'. These cards can contain inspirational words or quotes...whatever you want!
These will be nice just tucked into a journal pocket or adhered to a page or just keep them in a stack. Pretty pretty!

Dylusion Journal
I bought this Dianne Reavly ' Dylusions' journal ages ago, but never used it. It's perfect for Dylusions spray....nice thick pages!
Words read..."if I can dream in colour, I won't have to live in black and white"
Techniques include layered spraying and 'ghosting'. Also enhanced stamping
